Copper tube fabrication

Real production images document copper tube stock, coil-fed processing, straight sections, U-bends and tube-end assembly. The exact copper grade, tube size and joint method remain order-specific.

Quick answer

How should this product be specified?

Custom copper tube fabrication should be defined by the finished part drawing, not only by the raw tube size. A useful enquiry identifies the copper grade and temper, outside diameter, wall, bend locations and radii, straight lengths, end preparation, tolerances, cleanliness, interfaces and required quantity.

Documented scope

A clear starting point, with final details controlled by the drawing.

  • Straight tube and coil-fed processing
  • Bending, U-bend and connection preparation
  • Parts and subassemblies made to drawing

Selection and project scope

Define the finished tube part, not only the raw tube size

For cut or bent copper components, send a drawing showing straight lengths, bend positions, radii and end preparation. Identify the required grade, outside diameter, wall thickness and tolerances. A photo can explain the general shape, but the controlled drawing should define dimensions and the orientation of each connection.

Specify whether the delivery is loose tube parts, matched sets or joined subassemblies. Include cleanliness, protective caps and packing requirements where they matter to later assembly. If the finished part is a helical coil, use the copper tube coil page; if it includes a fin pack or a header assembly, describe the full scope in an OEM enquiry.

Buyer questions

Before you request a quotation

What details are needed for custom copper tube fabrication?

Include tube outside diameter and wall thickness, bend radii, straight lengths, end preparation and dimensional tolerances. Mark the connection orientation on the drawing and specify the quantity and intended service.

Can a photo replace a copper tube fabrication drawing?

A photo is useful for identifying the shape but does not reliably show dimensions or tolerances. Supply measurements or a dimensioned drawing before confirming the manufacturing scope.
