Turn a copper coil sample into a repeatable drawing
For a copper coil, specify tube grade, outside diameter, wall thickness and the overall formed shape. The drawing should show coil diameter, height, pitch, straight connection lengths and connection directions. For a replacement part, photographs are useful alongside measured dimensions and the equipment interface drawing.
Identify which end fittings or joining operations belong in the quotation, and include the required quantity and packing arrangement. Use copper tube fabrication for separate bends or straight components, rather than a complete coil. How do I request a replacement copper tube coil?
Send an existing drawing or measured sample details, including tube size, coil envelope, number of turns and inlet and outlet positions. State the application and quantity, and mark any dimensions that must match the existing installation.
Are all copper coils interchangeable if the tube size matches?
No. Coil geometry, connections, material specification and service conditions also matter. Confirm the complete drawing and application requirements before approving a replacement.
